Emergency Housing Assistance

Wyoming Emergency Housing Assistance Program

The Legislature has approved the Wyoming Emergency Housing Assistance Program (WEHAP). WEHAP is up and running as of Thursday, June 4, 2020.

The household must have suffered financial hardship due to COVID-19 and lack sufficient income or resources to pay rent, a mortgage payment, a security deposit, or hazard insurance payment due on or after April 1, 2020.  For more information, please call 307-253-1089 or email WEHAPHelps@wyomingcda.com.

Wyoming Rapid Response/Volunteers of America 
An individual senior, or family is facing homelessness.  Assistance can be used to avoid eviction or move to affordable housing.  Individual or family needs assistance due to a domestic abuse situation.  Assistance can be used to help reestablish individuals in a new setting or replace items lost as a result of circumstances.  Individual or family needs assistance due to a natural disaster such as fire or flood.  Assistance may be used for moving costs, rent/and/or utilities, household items.  Rapid Response Brochure
